老骥伏枥，志在千里；烈士暮年，壮心不已
——曹操《龟虽寿》
格言大意：千里马虽然老了，呆在马棚里，但它还是想这驰骋千里；有远大志向的人即使老了，他的雄心壮志依然不会消失。
Main Idea: A fine horse ,though old and retired in the stable ,still aspires to a gallop of one thousand li .A man of high endeavor ,though advanced in years , still cherishes his aspiration.
老当益壮（Old but vigorous）
马援是东汉有名的将军，在许多战役中英勇杀敌，功勋卓著。马援六十二岁时，汉军在一次战争中惨败。他再次请求领兵出击。皇帝深受感动，答应了他的请求。
Ma Yuan was a famous general in the Easten Han Dynasty .In many battles he fought the enemies gallantly and performed meritorious feats.When he was sisty-two years old ,Han’s forces sufferde heavy losses.He volunteered to lead the army to fight again.The emperor was deeply moved and agreed with his request.
