天下兴亡，匹夫有责
——麦梦华《论中国之存亡决定于今日》
格言大意：国家的兴旺与衰亡，就算是普通人，也负有责任。
Main Idea: Everyone should be responsible for the fate of his country.
五人之墓（Five people’s tomb）
明朝末年，太监魏忠贤把持朝政。官员周顺昌十分痛恨。在一次酒席上，他大骂魏忠贤。魏忠贤下令逮捕了周顺昌。苏州市民知道后，纷纷走上街头，要求释放周顺昌。魏忠贤派兵镇压，把那天带头的五个人抓进了监狱，并处了死刑。为了纪念这五个人，当地人把他们安葬在虎丘东边的山上，墓碑上写着“五人之墓”。
By the end of the Ming Dynasty ,Wei Zhongxian ,an eununch ,controlled the court.Zhou Shunchang ,an official ,hated him very much and scolded him at a banquet.Wei Zhongxian ordered to arrest Zhou Shunchang .When the people in Suzhou heard the news,they demonstrated in the streets ,peteting that Zhou Shunchang should be released.Wei Zhongxian sent an army to put it down ,threw the five leaders into prison and killed them .To commemorate them ,the local people buried them on a hill east to Mountain Huqiu with the words Five People’s Tomb on the gravestone.
