有公心必有公道，有功道必有公制
——傅玄《傅子·通志》
格言大意：有公心必然会有公道，有公道则必然会形成公正的制度。
Main Idea:If you have a fair mind ,you will be able to be just .If you are just , a fair system will be established.
刚直李膺（Li Ying the inpartial man）
东汉末年，张朔依仗权倾一时的哥哥，横行霸道，甚至杀害孕妇。李膺毫不畏惧，亲自把张朔捉拿归案，处以极刑。许多贪赃枉法的官吏一想到此事就非常害怕，轻易不敢出门胡作非为了。
At the end of Eastern Han Dynasty ,Zhang Shuo became a tyrant and even killed pregnant women relying on his brother’s power.Li Ying was fearlessly arrested Zhang Shuo by his own hands ,brought him to justice ,and sentenced him to an extreme penalty.Many officials who took bribes and bent the law were extremely frightened by this.Therefore ,they dared not go out and commit other outrages.
