大道之行也，天下为公
——《礼记·礼运》
格言大意：在圣人治理的时代，天下事公有的。
Main Idea: In the period when the country was run by saints ,everything was state-owned.
咎犯举荐仇人（Jiu Fan recommending his personal enemy）
春秋时，咎犯和虞子羔是一对仇人。有一次，晋文公问谁能作河西县令，咎犯推荐了虞子羔。虞子羔听说后，登门感谢。咎犯谁：“我举荐你，是因为公事；我怨恨你，是因为私事。我不能因为私事而损害公理。”
In the Spring and Autumn Period ,Jiu Fan and Yu Zigao were enemies of each other .Once ,Wengong the king of Jin asked who was qualified for the head offical of Hexi Country .Jiu Fan recommended Yu Zigao.When Yu Zigao heard this ,he paid a visit to Jiu Fan and passed on his gratitude to him .Jiu Fan said: “I recommended you for public matter .I hate you for private business .Common principle shoule never be harmed by selfish interests.”
