克勤于邦，克俭于家
——《尚书·大禹谟》
格言大意：在国家实业上要勤劳，在家庭生活上要节俭。
Main Idea : One should be diligent in country affairs and be thrifty in family life .
三过家门而未入（Da Yu passing home three times without entering）
远古时代，大地上洪水滔滔，危害百姓。大禹花了十三年的功夫，日夜操劳，终于使洪水各归其道。在治水期间，大禹一年四季不停地奔忙，多次路过自己家门口，都顾不上进去看看。
In remote antiquity ,everywhere was flooded and people were imperialled. It took Da Yu the king thirteen years to bring the rivers under control .He worked hard day and night . During that time , Da Yu was busy running here and there without stopping all year round .He travelled past the gate of his home several times and yet he had no time to and enter and see his family.
