沉舟侧畔千帆过，病树前头万木春
——刘禹锡《酬乐天扬州初逢席上见赠》
格言大意：沉船旁边，成千的船只扬帆驶过；枯树面前，上万的树木生机盎然。
Main Idea :Thousands of boats with unfurled sails are passing the sunk one .Thousands of trees full of vigor and vitality are in front of the withered one.
乐观旷达的刘禹锡(Liu Yuxi optimistic and open-minded)
刘禹锡是唐代文学家，他因参加政治改革，被贬到边远地区长达二十几年，可他的诗中却充满昂扬向上的格调。刘禹锡在一首给白居易的诗中，面对一些老朋友的去世，写下了“芳林新叶催陈叶，流水前波让后波”的诗句，表达了乐观的情怀。
Liu Yuxi was a famous man of letters in the Tang Dynasty .He was dismissde and forced to stay in remote areas for more than twenty years because he had participated in political reform . However ,his poem were full of high-spirited feeling .Liu Yuxi wrote in a poem to Bai Juyi , “New leaves drive the old ones to fall ,rear waves force the fore wave to give way to it .” This was written when he faced the death of some of his old friends ,expressing his optimistic feeling.
