运筹策帷帐之中，决胜于千里之外
——《史记·高祖本纪》
格言大意：在军营得帐篷里谋划决策，能决定千里之外战争的胜负。
Main Idea: The victory of a war thousands of miles away can be decided by planning and decisions made in a military camp.
张良运筹帷幄（Zhang Liang devising strategies in a command tent）
张良是汉高祖刘邦的重要谋臣。刘邦攻入秦都咸阳，看大舒适的宫殿，想留下来不走了。刘邦被项羽封为汉王。张良劝他烧毁走过的栈道，表示不再回来，以此来麻痹项羽。张良劝刘邦封地给韩信、英布、彭越等人，让他们起兵配合，最终打败了项羽。
Zhang Liang was a very important adviser for Liu Bang, the first emperor of the Han Dynasty .Liu Bang captured Xianyang, the capital of Qin, and he wanted to stay when he saw the comfortable palace. Liu Bang was granted King of Han by Xiang Yu .Zhang Liang persuaded him to burn the plunk roads through the hills after he passed them, showing he won’t be back again .In this way he lulled Xiang Yu’s suspicions.Zhang Liang persuaded Liu Bang to give land to Han Xin, Ying Bu and Peng Yue so that they would agree to use their armies to help Liu Bang .In the end, Xiang Yu was defeated.
