富贵不能淫，贫贱不能移，威武不能屈
——《孟子·滕文公下》
格言大意：富贵不能使心志迷乱，贫贱不能使节操改变，武力不能使人格屈服。
Main Idea :Wealth cannot make bewilder one’s mind,poverty cannot make one chang one’s moral integrity ,and force cannot seize one’s dignity.
不食嗟来之食（Never eating food handed out in contempt）
齐国遭遇了干旱，粮食歉收，很多人没有饭吃。富人黔敖在路边放了一些食物给饥民吃，但是他的态度非常傲慢。一个饥民虽然非常饿，但是看到黔敖的态度，很生气，宁可饿死也不吃他施舍的粥。
When the state of Qi had a drought and harvested little grain , many people went hungry .Qian Ao,a rich man ,but some food along the roadside to feed the hungry people ,but he was very arrogant.A drought-stricken person was very hungry .When he saw Qian Ao’s attitude ,he got very angry.He would rather die of hunger than eat the porridge given by him in contempt.
