志士仁人，无求生以害仁，有杀身以成仁
——《论语·卫灵公》
格言大意：有理想有道德的人，不会为了活命而去做违背仁义的事情，只会牺牲自己以成全仁义。
Main Idea: People with ideals and morals will not do anything against humanity and justice do save their own life ,but sacrifice themselves to protect kindness and virtue.
史可法宁死不降（Shi Kefa would rather die than surrender）
明朝末年，史可法在扬州积极抗清，发誓与扬州城共存亡。清军给史可法送来了劝降信，答应给他高官厚禄。但史可法一点儿也不动摇。扬州城破，史可法被俘。他不受诱惑，坚决不投降，最后从容就义。
In the last years of the Ming Dynasty ,Shi Kefa fought against Qing vigorously in Yangzhou ,swearing that he would defend the city until death.The Qing army sent a letter to him to induce him to capitulate ,promising to give him a high office and fat salary .But he didn’t waver at all.Yangzhou was captured and Shi Kefa was taken prisoner .He did not yield to temptation and refused to surrender .Finally he met his death like a hero.
