石可破也，而不可夺坚；丹可磨也，而不可夺赤
——《吕氏春秋·诚廉》
格言大意：石头可以被打碎，但决不能改变它固有的坚硬；朱砂可以被研磨，但局不能被改变它自身的红色。
Main Idea: Stone can be broken ,but its hard nature cannot be changed ;Cinnabar can be eroded ,but its red color cannot be changed .
苏武牧羊（Su Wu herding sheep）
西汉时，汉臣苏武出使匈奴。匈奴首领劝他投降，苏武不答应，就被流放到偏远的地方放羊。苏武放羊的地方非常艰苦，但是他始终不屈服。后来，苏武终于回到了长安。他的精神受到人们的普遍称颂。
In the Weatern Han Dynasty ,Su Wu , a minister ,served as an envoy to Xiongnu. When the head of Xingno encouraged him to surrndered ,he rufused .Then he was sent into exile to a remote area to tend sheep. Though the conditions in the area where he tended sheep was very bad,Su Wu never gave in .Later he came back to Chang’an .His spirit was acclaimed by the general public.
