三军可夺帅也，匹夫不可夺志也
——《论语·子罕》
格言大意：一国的军队，可以被夺去主帅；一个普通的百姓，却不能改变他的志向。
Main Idea : The army’s commander-in-chief could be taken away by force , but the common people’s will could not be so changed.
不食周粟（Refuse to eat Zhou’s food）
商朝末年，周武王要讨伐商纣王，伯夷、叔齐认为这样做不仁慈。周武王讨伐商纣王成功，自己当了国王。伯夷、叔齐对周武王的这种做法感到羞耻，拒绝吃周朝的粮食，每天只野菜，最后饿死了。
At the end of the Shang Dyansty , King Wuwang of Zhou was about to attack King Zhouwang of Shang . Both Boyi and Shuqi thought this was merciless.Wuwang successfully defeated Zhouwang and he founded the new dynasty of Zhou and became the king himself . Boyi and Shuqi felt ashamed of what Wuwang did and refused to eat the food of Zhou Dynasty . They lived on weeds and died of hunger at last .
