莫道桑榆晚，为霞尚满天
——刘禹锡《酬乐天咏老见示》
格言大意：不要叹息落日余晖照在桑树榆树上为时已晚，它依然可以焕发出满天霞光。
Main Idea: Don’t sign with regret that it is too late as if the twilight of the setting sun is shining on the trees in the west. It can still make the whole sky shine with the evening sunlight.
李时珍写《本草纲目》（Li Shizhen compiling Compendium of Materia Medica）
明代大医学家李时珍，决心写一部完整的医学书。他花二十七年的时光，历尽千辛万苦，终于在六十一岁时写出了《本草纲目》初稿。又经过十多年的修改，先后修改了三次，他才将这部医学巨著最后完成。
The great medician of the Ming Dynasty, Li Shizhen, made up his mind to write a comprehensive book of medicine. It took him twenty-seven years to finish the first draft of Compendium of Materia at the age of sixty-one after innumerable hardships. After revising it three times in more than ten years’ time, he finally finished this great work in medical science.
