少壮不努力，老大徒伤悲
——汉乐府古辞《长歌行》
格言大意：年少时不努力学习，长大后就只能徒然地悲伤了。
Main Idea: If one does not study hard when young, it will be useless for him to regret when old.
子在川上曰（Confucius’s words uttered beside a river）
孔子从小就努力学习，到了老年也不松懈。晚年的孔子，望着流淌的河水，发出感叹：“时间流逝就像这河水一样啊！”
Confucius studied very hard when he was still young and didn’t stop studying even when he was old .When Confucius was old, he looked at the flowing water in the river and signed with feeling: “Time flows away just like water in the water!”
