   战国时，赵国和北方的少数民族之间经常爆发战争。由于传统的战车、宽大的战袍太笨重，赵国常常打败仗。赵武灵王下令军人改穿像少数民族那样的服装，并学习骑马、射箭。赵国实行改革后，军队的战斗力加强了，连连打胜仗。
  In the Warring States Period, wars often broke out between Zhao and the minority groups in the north. Zhao was often defeated because their traditional war chariots and loose war robes were too cumbersome. King Wulingwang of Zhao ordered his army to wear close-fitting clothes like the minority groups and learn to ride horses and shoot arrows. After Zhao implemented the reform, the army’s fighting capacity was strengthened and won battles one after the other.
