格言大意：聪明而好学，向地位比自己低、知识比自己少的人请教，并不觉得有什么羞耻。

Main Idea: If you are bright and enjoy learning you should not feel shameful to consult those whose social status is lower than yours and those who are not so knowledgeable as you.

一字之师（One–word teacher）

   范仲淹是北宋的大文学家。一次，他写了一篇文章，对其中的几句话非常得意。他的一个朋友看了，建议把“德”改为“风”字。范仲淹觉得朋友说得有道理，欣然提笔改为这个字。
   Fan Zhongyan was a great writer of the Northern Song Dynasty. Once he finished an article and was very proud of some of the sentences he wrote. One of his friends read the article and suggested changing the word”morality”into”style”.Fan Zhongyan felt his friend’s words were reasonable so he changed the word with pleasure.
