格言大意：不自我表现，所以高明；不自以为是，所以出色；不自我夸耀，所以能建立功勋；不骄傲自满，所以能够长久。

Main Idea: A person is wise if he doesn’t show off. He is outstanding if he doesn’t consider himself in the right .He can perform good deeds if he doesn’t boast. He can stay long if he is neither proud of nor satisfied with himself.

大树将军（Great the big tree）

    冯异是东汉时期的著名将领，立下过无数次战功。每一场战役结束后，别的将领都会坐在一起自夸功劳。冯异却总是避开，一个人躲到大树底下。因此，他赢得了大家的尊敬，人们称他为“大树将军”。

    Feng Yi was a famous general having won numerous successful battles in the period of Eastern Han. Every time when a campaign was ended, other generals would sit together and sing their own praises about their contributions.However, Feng Yi would always avoid this and hide under a tree by himself .So, he won the respect by everyone .He was called “General the big tree”.
