白公胜不守道义(Prince Sheng of Bai not obeying moral principles)

白公胜是楚国太子的儿子。在是否任用胜的问题上，楚国的两位大臣有不同的看法。子西不听叶公的劝说，坚持任用白公胜，让他去守边疆。后来，果然如叶公所言，胜发动叛乱，杀了子西一家。叶公带兵平定了这场叛乱，胜上吊而死。

Sheng the prince of Bai was the son of the crown prince of Chu.Two ministers of Chu has different opinions on where or not they should give Sheng a post.Zixi refused to follow Ye Gong’s advice and insisted on sending Prince Sheng to defend the border.
Later, Sheng launched a rebellion and killed the whole family of Zixi just as Ye Gong had anticipated. Ye Gong put down the rebellion with his army and Sheng hanged himself.
